Abstract

The article discusses the study on the importance of the four muscle groups involving elbow flexors (RF), digit flexors (DF), shoulder adductors (SA), and lumbar flexors (LF) in rock climbing performance. The method for the measurement of the muscle ability through prefatiguing exercise considering maximum voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) was designed. The results were outlined and concludes that climbing performance was significantly affected after the prefatigue of DF followed by EF.
