Abstract

The article presents a case study of the effectiveness of timolol in the treatment of recalcitrant irradiated surgical scalp wound in a 76-year-old white man with a history of a recurrent squamous cell carcinoma on the left parietal and frontal scalp. Wound care consisted of washing the scalp with soap and water and covering the wound with petroleum jelly and a nonadherent bandage. The wound modestly improve following his adherence to the same wound care routine.
