- Presents a case of spontaneous splenic rupture requiring splenectomy in a U.S. Marine patient with no symptoms of infectious mononucleosis. Physical examination of the patient; Percentage of overwhelming postsplenectomy infection risk in adults; Administration of vaccines after splenectomy.
