Abstract

Summary A case of inflammatory tinea capitis caused by Trichophyton mentagrophytes var. quinckeanum in a 3-year-old Tunisian girl is presented. The disease healed after treatment with griseofulvin for 6 weeks and topical application of econazole. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
