Abstract

Provides information on a study that assessed whether poly(ADP)ribose-polymerase (PARP) activation is present and two structurally unrelated PARP inhibitors, 3-aminobenzamide and 1,5-isoquinolinediol, counteract overexpression of ET-1 and ET (A) and (B) receptors, in the renal cortex of rats with short-term streptozotocin-induced diabetes. Findings of the study; Conclusions.
