Abstract
- The article informs that nursing students have reacted with dismay to a decision by the Northern Ireland health department not to help them with their childcare costs. Since September students in England have been able to claim an allowance worth up to 85 per cent of the cost of a registered child-minder or nursery. Hilary Rowell, chair of the RCN association of nursing students, said she was 'naturally very disappointed'.
