Abstract
- The article presents a study that developed and tested theoretical relationships proposed between positive health practices (PHP) and social support (SS), optimism, and acculturation among Asian Americans aged 18-21 years. Evidence showed significant positive relationships between SS and optimism with PHP and between acculturation and PHP. Further research is recommended to identify and test other mediators for more insight into the relationship between the two variables.
