Abstract
- Discusses the molecular dissection of the contribution of negatively and positively charged residues in S2, S3 and S4 to the final membrane topology of the voltage sensor in the K[sup +] channel, KAT1. Use of in vitro translation and translocation experiments; Indication that Asp[sup 95] assists in the membrane insertion S3-S4.
