Abstract: Examines the signal transducer in the bone morphogenic protein signaling pathway Smad4 as a transcription corepressor for estrogen receptor α. Immunoprecipitation by endogenous Erα and Smad4; Interaction inducement by antiestorgan ligands; Formation of a complex by Smad4 and ERα when ERα binds to the element within estrogen target gene promoter.
