Emergency Contraception Counseling in a Retail Pharmacy Setting: A Pilot Study.

The article presents the pilot study on emergency contraception (EC) counseling in retail pharmacy. The study involved an examination on the impact of student pharmacist counseling on consumers' awareness of EC and on consumers' satisfaction on the counseling. The results reportedly revealed that EC counseling increased consumers' knowledge on EC which suggests that it is feasible and valued by consumers.
