Abstract
- Phosphomolybdic acid is a kind of novel oxidant. The basic nitrogen compounds (BNC) in diesel was removed by phosphomolybdic acid/hydrogen peroxide as oxidant, alcohol was used as extractant to extract oxidation products from diesel. The effect of factors on removing of BNC was reviewed systematically. On the basis of single factor investigations, orthogonal experiments were done to optimize the denitrification process. The result showed that the optimum process conditions is that usage of phosphomolybdic acid is 0.020 g, volume of hydrogen peroxide is 2.5 mL, reaction temperature is 318 K, and reaction time is 35 min. The BNC in diesel is reduced from 85.79 to 21.28 μg/g, and the denitrification rate reaches 75.2% under the optimum condition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
