Abstract
- The article discusses developments in the design of soft toric contact lenses as of late May 2015. It claims that in 2014, over a third of all soft lenses fitted in Great Britain were said to be of toric designs. Also cited are the improved toric lens manufacturing technique, the effects of astigmatism in contact lens wear, and the prism ballasting method for stabilising toric soft contact lenses on the eye.
