Abstract
- The article presents the report published by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) on March 19, 2015, suggesting that every hospital eye department in Great Britain should have access to a sight loss adviser. The report claimed that a qualified eye care liaison officer (ECLO) or sight loss adviser can serve as bridge between health and social care. Also cited are the comments by RNIB's Fazilet Hadi and The Royal College of Ophthalmologists' Professor Carrie MacEwen on the issue.
