Abstract
- The article features the International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH) which was started by Professor Barrie Jones in 1980. Topics discussed include ICEH's history, ICEH's starting to publish the "Community Eye Health Journal" in 1988 and ICEH becoming part of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in London, England in 2002. Also mentioned are ICEH's objectives, including to provide evidence of the impact of visual loss and eye diseases and to undertake research and reviews.
