Abstract

The article focuses at Fee for Intervention (FFI) scheme introduced by Health and Safety Executive of Great Britain for industries is a contravention of health and safety law, or material breach, is discovered during inspections. It states that introduction of FFI was met with concern by industry as organizations feared that it would be used to generate revenue through corruption. It mentions that FFI provides an incentive to improve health and safety management and consistent application.
