Role of Cotart as Thibaut d'Aussigny's adversary; Significance of drinking and drunkenness in the 'Testament' as a whole; Ballad's burlesque tone; Depiction of water and wine in two ballades other than Cotart's; Argument that the consumption and enjoyment of divine wine even in excess are the purpose of its production.
