Sexual abuse and suicide attempt in bipolar type I patients.

The article discusses a study conducted in Brazil which investigated the early life adversities (ELA) or early life stressors including physical and emotional negligence and physical, emotional and sexual abuse and their associations with suicide behavior in bipolar disorder (BD).
