Abstract

The scientific principles of triboelectrostatic were thoroughly analyzed from the dynamic perspective. The structure and working process of rotary triboelectric separation and its influencing factors on decarbonization of fly ash were described. Besides,on the basis of the thing that the size composition and mineral composition of fly ash samples were analyzed. To confirm the effect of the major innovative factors, charging voltage and co-flow velocity, the single factor experiments were conducted. The results show that the stronger electric field force that perpendicular to electiode plate and the weaker flow disturbance are more and more favorable to the separation of the charged particles in separation cavity; the charging voltage does not play the role of strengthening the separation efficiency, even make it weakened; the co-flow velocity has significant effect on the decarbonization of fly ash. And with the increase of co-flow velocity, the impact of separation declines, and then increases and later began to declines again. The best level is 2. 0 m/s within the range determined.
