Abstract
- The article presents a comparison between microwave amplifiers with low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) and power amplifiers (PAs). For the implementation of both types of amplifiers in hybrid circuit, the printed-circuit board (PCB) is required that helps in final performance of both LNAs and PAs. Topics discussed includes circuit materials for microwave PAs, high-frequency circuit materials and how to build PAs on PCB materials.
