Abstract
- The article presents findings of a study conducted to investigate the factors that could help in balancing quality of sleep and successful weaning from mechanical ventilation in patients at respiratory care centers. The study showed strong relationship between disease severity and quality of sleep, and both factors are significant predictors of successful weaning from mechanical ventilation.
