VALGOMOSIOS GELTEKLĖS IR VALGOMOJO PŪTELIO EKOLOGIŠKAI AUGINAMŲ PROFILIUOTOJE DIRVOJE BIOLOGINIŲ IR ŪKINIŲ SAVYBIŲ ĮVERTINIMAS.

Investigation was carried out at the Institute of Horticulture, Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry in 2011-2012. The aim of experiment was to evaluate biological and farming characteristics of Scorzonera hispanica L. and Tragopogon porrifolius L. under organic growing conditions on the profiled surface. The object of investigation was variety 'Duplex' of Scorzonera hispanica L. (black salsify) and variety 'Flandrija' of Tragopogon porrifolius L. (salsify). According to the data of experiment, it was established that plants of Tragopogon porrifolius L. had distinguished with plants height (39.8 cm), leaves diameter (74.5 cm), amount of leaves (32.5 units), leaves length (58.5) and index of root-crop shape (10.3). The biggest amount of total (9.0 t ha-1) and marketable (7.5 t ha-1) yield was established in 'Duplex' Scorzonera hispanica L., where output of marketable production reached 82.7 %.
