Abstract

The article focuses on the genome editing technologies. The genomic editing technologies have scope for becoming powerful tools for gene therapy as they inactivate genes, correct mutated sequences or insert intact genes. The genomic editing field is advancing and are issues regarding development of appropriate preclinical assays to evaluate.
