Abstract

The article discusses situations where American constitutional rights are non-absolute, and it mentions the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the 2014 case McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission (FEC), which deals with the legality of an aggregate limits provision in the country's Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002. A Sufficiency Question involving the justification of a rights limitation under one of America's constitutional doctrines' "ends" tests is examined.
