Abstract
- The article discusses the tools and concepts that will help design engineers in the U.S. proactively manage energy efficiency and the sustainable elements of building during and preconstruction phases of energy retrofit project. It suggests the energy modeling or calibrated energy models. It notes the use of whole-building retrofit integrated approach. It mentions the through real-time monitoring and measurement.
