Abstract: The article discusses the treatment of patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It cites several papers on IBS presented at the May 2012 Nutrition in Medicine conference held in Melbourne, Victoria including the ones from doctor Jane Muir, professors Peter Gibson and Gerard Holtman. It also relates the author's personal experience of managing IBS.
