Ege Bölgesi Tire İlçesi Mısır Plantasyonlarının Beslenme Durumlarının İncelenmesi.

In this study which was carried out in order to determine nutritional status of corn plantations where intensive cultivation is carried out in Tire District of İzmir.Soil and leaf samples were obtained from 25 corn plantations which were chosen as representative of region and productivity and nutrient analyses were carried out. According to findings, the com plantations in the region requiresfertilization of N, K, Mg and Zn nutrients. In the areas where soil pHis above 7.5, sulphur powder should be appliedinto soil root zone before sowing to increase availability of phosphorous and micro elements for plants. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
