Abstract
- The authors discuss the potential of urine testing for human papillomavirus (HPV) as a diagnostic method for cervical cancer. They discuss the accuracy of HPV urine testing compared with cervical samples obtained by doctors and analyze the factors behind some women's reluctance to undergo cervical screening. They also discuss the advantages of self-sampling, such as urine sampling, in terms of getting more women tested.
