Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 29-year-old- male patient with the complaints of abdominal distention and an exertional dyspnea. Topics discussed include heart sounds without murmur, neck vein distension and venous dilatation of the extremities were revealed in physical examination, detection of hyperechoic cystic lesion in transthoracic echocardiography and constrictive pericarditis (CP) as a tool for differential diagnosis.
