Combating the pollution with hydrocarbons includes preventive methods but also intervention methods. In present worldwide, are used five methods to combat the pollution with hydrocarbons. Using either of these methods involve a number of factors such as: weather limit conditions, technical features of intervention equipment, boundary conditions on the state of the pollutant and a number of advantages and disadvantages depending on the type of method chosen.
