Abstract: Presents a paper folding activity that can be used by mathematics teachers in teaching conic sections through the Geometer's Sketchpad, a geometry drawing program. Suggested mathematical problems for the activity; Derivation of equations for a parabola, ellipse and a hyperbola for the paper folded creases; Related curiosities with regard to the crease line.
