Abstract
- The article discusses schooling options for children with special educational needs and disability (SEND). Topics discussed include inclusion in education, effectiveness of special schools, and teachers' training in mainstream schools to deal with children with special needs. School resources for special needs students are also discussed. The author discusses her decision to educate her son, who has Down's syndrome, at the Alderman Knight School in Gloucestershire, England.
