Abstract

The article presents information on a research study examined histone mutations for possible therapies to cure dffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an incurable pediatric brain tumor. The research created a model of DIPG by differentiating human embryonic stem cells into neural progenitor cells. It then transduced them with a viral vector carrying the gene.
