Abstract
- The article discusses the benefits being gained by the Colorado Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (DHSEM) from ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based system deployed by the agency to collect, map and share disaster area information with decision-makers. Topics covered include the type of data being collected by the platform and the key role of the platform in the response to the MesaCounty mudslide in May 2014.
