Abstract
- A criticism is presented of the public service broadcaster the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC's) television program "Sherlock," created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. An overview of the influence that early 21st century British social conditions had on "Sherlock," including in regard to the British television viewer's psychology, British mass surveillance and the fear of terrorism in country, resulting from the July, 7, 2005 terrorist bombings in London, England, is provided.
