Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 60-year-old woman presented for ileo-colonoscopy for suspected Crohn's disease in the terminal ileum. The biopsy forceps was inserted through the opening of the perforation and collected some fatty tissue from the peritoneal cavity and pulled it back through the perforation to plug it and prevented acute leakage of bowel content. The patient received prophylactic antibiotics and did not have any symptoms during and after the procedure.
