Abstract

The article focuses on the effect of bacterial gill disease in cultured fish like the rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss in six replicated water recirculation aquaculture systems. Based on results, it states that bacterial contamination had occurred during sample processing, resulting in contamination with DNA from various lactic acid bacteria including Weisella, Lactobacillus, and Leuconostoc. A graph depicting the mean standard error abundance counts for bacteria is presented.
