Abstract
- The article discusses the decline in field biology. Topics discussed include some factors contributing to the decline including the increase of molecular biology, the loss of staff competent and general decline in children getting outdoor experience, committee of educationalist led by Benjamin Bloom's proposed classification system for learning outcomes and the lack of attention to identification skills in primary schools.
