Abstract

The article discusses incentives for U.S. college football programs to not report head injuries as concussions in relation to the accuracy of reporting of injuries. Topics include procedures used by team medical staffs to test for concussions during games, attitudes regarding concussions among coaches, and the potential use of more specific diagnoses for concussions.
