Abstract
- The article describes a case of a supraclavicular artery island (SAI) flap for reconstruction of a nonhealing cervical spine wound in a 52-year-old male patient with a 35 pack-year smoking history. Topics discussed include the patient's diagnosis and surgical procedure performed, the complication of his postoperative course, and the immediate advantages of a SAI flap.
