Abstract: The article discusses strong demand for European bonds prompted by the European Central Bank's forthcoming 60-billion-euro per month bond-purchasing program, and efforts by firms to take advantage of it. Utility company GDF Suez SA sold 500 million euros in bonds on March 4, 2015. Conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway Inc. plans to sell about $3.4 billion in euro-denominated securities.
