The incidence and prevalence of comorbid gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, ocular, pulmonary, and renal disorders in multiple sclerosis: A systematic review.

The article presents a systematic review to estimate the incidence and prevalence of comorbid gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, ocular, pulmonary, and renal disorders in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). It conducted a research using various publications including PubMed, Web of Knowledge databases, and reference lists of retrieved articles. The review suggested that irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, and chronic lung disease are common in people with MS.
