Abstract

The article presents a study related to catalytic enantioselective fluorination. Topics discussed include electrophilic and nucleophilic fluorination, catalytic enantioselective trifluoromethylation and perfluoroalkylation, catalytic enantioselective monofluoromethylation, difluoromethylation and trifluoromethylthiolation and significance of fluorine and fluorine containing groups in asymmetric catalysis methods.
