Abstract
- The article focuses on the requests for proposals (RFP) issued by the aircraft maker Boeing for the Boeing 777X airplane's new systems and equipment. It mentions that RFPs are focused on the systems and actuation of the moving surfaces on the aircraft's composite wing and development of GE9X engine for the 777X by the General Electric. It informs that integrated flight-control electronics (IFCE) and air-data function will be developed by aerospace firm BAE Systems.
