Abstract
- The article focuses on the report "New Jersey Transportation by the Numbers: Meeting the State's Need for Safe and Efficient Mobility" released by the transport organization TRIP which reveals that congested roads and bridges in New Jersey that lack safety features costs motorists 11.8 billion U.S. dollars statewide annually. The report states that 35 percent of major roads in the state are in poor conditions while 2,945 people died between 2008 and 2012 due to traffic accidents.
