Generational Change and Redefining Identities: Post-Conflict Peacebuilding in Northern Ireland.

A conference paper on how local reconciliation is critical to post-conflict peace-building in Northern Ireland, in the wake of the Good Friday Agreement, for the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association to be held in August 2014 in Washington D.C., is presented. Topics discussed include how lack of reconciliation process impacts the peace process implementation, unionist hegemony, and problems associated with the lack of a truth commission in Northern Ireland.
