Gender Role Beliefs and Attitudes Toward Abortion: A Cross-National Exploration.

A conference paper about gender role beliefs and attitudes towards abortion, prepared for presentation at the American Political Science Association Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., August 28-September1, 2014, is presented. It discusses importance of gender role attitudes in discourse on abortion. It examines weak relationship between gender role egalitarianism and support for abortion than effects of other variables such as attitudes toward euthanasia and factors such as working mother.
