Abstract
- The author proposes that 3 factors namely fear, audacity and values are particularly essential to an academic's research except for one caveat that these factors while in isolation harm success and are extremely potent for research success. Topics discussed include how fear in the academic can result to intimidation, low confidence and insecurities and how when combined, these factors form a powerful tripartite of research success in sociological terms.
