Optimal Duration of Anti-TB Treatment in Patients With Diabetes.

The article investigates the effects of the time duration of anti-tuberculosis (TB) treatment on the risks of TB recurrence among diabetic patients. Topics discussed include the predictors of TB recurrence other than duration of treatment, a comparison between a nine-month treatment and a two-year treatment program in terms of preventing TB recurrence and the factors that should be considered in determining the length of time of the treatment.
