Abstract
- An essay is presented on the search for drama in an age of fragmentation on reading the book "Evolutionary History of the Modern Drama" (Entwicklungsgeschichte des modernen Dramas), by Georg Lukács, known as one of the founders of Marxist aesthetics philosophy in the 20th century. The author exp0lores the initial questions and theoretical assumptions in the book and provides a novel hermeneutic approach to prevent misinterpretations in related studies.
