Abstract: The article reports that Internet company Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. has been accused by China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce of failing to police bribery, the sale of fake goods, and other wrongdoing at its Taobao retailing Website. The agency's criticisms date from July of 2014 but were not publicly disclosed prior to Alibaba's initial public offering in September of that year.
